Ca’ la Vedescia is a tiny b&b placed into Valtellina’s vineyards.
We started the project looking for the name for the b&b: “Ca’” is a dialectical form which means “Home”, whereas “Vedescia” is the ancient name of the terrain where the structure stands. After an historical research, we found out that the origin of the name “Vedescia” seems to come from an ancient medieval tower that stood in that place.
We also decided to use a marking payoff as “Homemade Bed&Breakfast”, because everything inside and outside the b&b is made by the owners: the building, the forniture, but also breakfasts are handmaded by them.
We then designed the logo and the corporate identity following the style of the b&b, that is based on the rural tradition on the valley.
After a research for the store signs painted on the wall of ancient shops, we took from them colours and style.
We then realized business cards, photos and the website.
